SMALLER TERRITORIES
MORE FLAGS
MORE ACTION
SUGGESTED RULES/ORDER OF PLAY
PLAYERS ARE DIVIDED INTO TWO TEAMS AND GIVEN COLOURS AND 5 FLAGS EACH.
TEAMS ESTABLISH THEIR BASES AND THEIR GAOL IN THEIR RESPECTIVE TERRITORIES.
THE BASE MUST DISPLAY THE TEAMS 5 FLAGS CLEARLY AND MUST BE ACESSIBLE FROM 3 DIFFERENT ROUTES
A CHALK CIRCLE WITH A RADIUS OF 5M IS DRAWN AROUND THE FLAGS. THE DEFENDERS MAY NOT ENTER THIS AREA.
WHEN A PLAYER IS IN THE ENEMY'S TERRITORY THEY MAY BE CAPTURED BY A DEFENDING PLAYER. WHEN TAGGED THE PLAYER MUST BE LED TO THE GAOL BY THE DEFENDER WHO TAGGED THEM. ONLY ONE PLAYER MAY BE TAGGED AT A TIME.
THE GAOL IS AN AREA 3M IN RADIUS ESTABLISED AT THE START OF THE GAME. CAPTURED PLAYERS MUST STAY IN THE GAOL UNTIL A GAOLBREAK IS INITIATED BY A MEMBER OF THEIR TEAM BY TOUCHING ONE OF THEM. FREED PRISONERS RETURN IMMEDIATELY TO NORMAL PLAY.
EACH TEAM MUST ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE THE OTHER TEAMS' FLAGS AND RUN THEM BACK TO THEIR OWN BASE . EACH PLAYER MAY ONLY CARRY ONE FLAG AT A TIME.
IF A PLAYER IS TAGGED WHEN IN POSSESSION OF THE ENEMY'S FLAG THEY MUST DROP THE FLAG, REGARDLESS OF WHOSE TERRITORY THEY ARE IN. THE FLAG IS THEN RETURNED TO ITS BASE - THE ATTEMPT ON THAT FLAG BY THE ATTACKING TEAM CEASES.
IF A PLAYER MANAGES TO GET AN ENEMY'S FLAG BACK TO THEIR OWN BASE IT IS PLACED ALONGSIDE THEIR OWN FLAGS. AT THE END OF PLAY THE TEAM GETS 1 POINT FOR EVERY FLAG AT THEIR BASE. (FLAGS IN TRANSIT DO NOT COUNT)
AFTER THE FIRST HALF OF PLAY BOTH TEAMS RECONVENE IN NO-MAN'S LAND. TEAMS THEN SWAP TERRITORIES, ESTABLISH NEW BASES AND GAOLS, AND A SECOND HALF OF PLAY BEGINS.
